Tien Shan Mountains-HELISKI THE HEAVENS-The Tien
Shan mountains of the Himalayas offers some of the best heliskiing
terrain in the world. Tien Shan means celestial mountains, and
here, a heliskier can get closer to the heavens than anywhere
else on Earth. Kazbek Valiev, a renowned mountain climber from
Kazakhstan offers a summer heliskiing program that reaches a zenith
of 5,800 meters. Here, one reaches the outer limits of heliskiing,
winding one’s way among glacial seracs and crevasses, dwarfed
by surrounding peaks that reach over 7,000 meters into the heavens.
