In October, 2005, Jimmy Petterson, in conjunction with the Zetterqvist
Publishing Company will release a unique new book entitled "Skiing Around the World". A book of this kind has never before been attempted on this scale. It is to be a hard cover, high-end book of about 350 pages, with approximately 500 color photos, produced with 240 by 340 mm. pages of high quality paper.

The book will be a ski odyssey through approximately 45 countries of the world, depicting the skiing and atmosphere of those lands. While there will be side bars to rate areas in various categories, the book is very much experiential and impressionistic in nature, and is not a guide book. The photos will not be entirely ski photos, but shots of local people, scenery, and whatever else helps to create a total picture of what a skier might experience on a visit to that country. The finished product will certainly be an inspiration to all skiers and snowboarders with an adventurous spirit to widen their vistas and hit the road to the four corners of the Earth. It will also help them to choose the snow sports locations most suited to their skills and dreams.
